2014

An art summary of 2014   I've always sort of... neglected to fill out these summary memes despite whatever intentions I may have had or not, haha. NOT THIS YEAR. 
2014 has been my most productive year art-wise since.. ever. 106 drawings this year vs. 48 drawings in 2013. Not to mention all the imports and other stuff I didn't add to the equation. WHAT HAPPENED? Well I'm.. not really sure, actually.

I'm going to quickly summarize my year ~


January - Chasing Cars
2014 actually started off pretty rocky for me with a sort of winter depression hanging heavily over me and a huge exam in bacteriology, immunology and infectious diseases to deal with, but I powered right on through that. 
Experimentally offered up the first bunch of Zlesdin imports for sale, and was astounded to find them all claimed within 24 hours. 


February - I could use a manicure
Discovered the magic of audio books. Where before I had to pick between reading and drawing, suddenly I could do BOTH at once! This resulted in a large collection of sketches and such. Suddenly I had the means to be extra productive


March - Humility
More sketches accumulating throughout this month, and more audio books being consumed. Lots of FleKK work. I also made the decision of joining the HaRPG with two horses this month and opening the Zlesdin group due to public interest. 


April - Easter Egg Hunt
My orthopedic surgery internship begins - two weeks of getting up at 5 am  Kind of kills my productivity a little, buuuut I'm catching up by the end of the month. Zdarloch Stables is named and first contest is entered. 


May - Spectacular Stallion Show | Liberty
My Winter Soldier obsession takes off, and I'm spurred to try some modern twists on certain FleKK characters. ZS Sagadir joins the business.


June - That's cheating
A great deal of fanart at this time of the year. 'That's Cheating' becomes insanely popular on Tumblr with 6,000 notes and 70 new followers overnight. Today this post has close to 24,000 notes.


July - Pit stop
A very productive month! Zdarloch'ing all over the place. I realize I've been neglecting FleKK a bit and look into fixing this matter. I also obtain a nasty ear infection rendering me 90% deaf for one week, and that kind of kills the creative vibe a little towards the midde of the month, although I catch up towards the end... Did someone mention an Outlast obsession? What are you talking about?


August - Marking the Route
Taking a bit of a chill after the drawing insanity of July, making preparations for my first HaRPG show.


September - Ogniem i mieczem
Opening show becomes a thundering success! Taking a break from HaRPG contests for a little while, trying to focus on other things instead. 


October - Heartcore
Catching up on all the things I want to catch up on.. or trying to, rather. Another huge exams steals most of my time, and productivity takes a dive.


November - Great Party Tricks
Too many things to finish, so I decide to just... not finish them, haha x'D   At this point I realize harpg is taking up too much of my artsy time, and I swear a solemn oath to tone it a bit down in the new year. A new apartment is bought and I have a lot of things on my mind besides.


December - WS Elite Dressage Event
...And here we are!



So, overall, 2014 has been a super productive year, and I hope 2015 will be... kind of productive as well  
Thank you, everyone, for sticking out with me throughout 2014, and a big thanks to the HaRPG community for welcoming me into the ranks!  I did not... quite follow last year's new years resolution of focusing my bulk of attention towards developing the various cultures of FleKK, but I did do a little, and I suppose that counts for something too, ahh? ^^  Anyway, I'll be taking that vow with me to 2015, so hopefully I'll complete it this time ~
